Thekla in a Bottle (Dark Edition)
The Thekla is a world-famous floating Bristolian cultural icon. Yep, it's a boat. A boat that has been serving up musical memories for sweaty, euphoric punters since 1984. And you don't need to live in Bristol to know the Thekla: just ask Father John Misty, Jimmy Cliff, Aphex Twin, Stormzy, Phoebe Bridgers... (oh man, do your own research). This artwork is a thank-you to two of the original owners: Viv and Ki Stanshall – both now sadly passed – back to see how the old place is doing.
This "Dark" version of the original print (also available in the printshop) is exclusively available here. So, if you've ever been there, or just love live music, played in the sweaty bilges of a renovated German cargo boat in the West of England, this print is for you.
